Trying Out the Complete Campus Pak from OCM

in College, Dorm Life on 06/29/18

Y’all know I love apartment decor and probably post way too much about it, but I realize that for a lot of incoming college students, going around looking for bedding and towels and organizers while trying to move your life to this new place might not be on your priority list. Shopping isn’t for everyone, and sometimes you just want the convenience of having someone else do it for you!

Disclosure: I received a Complete Campus Pak from OCM to review, and all opinions here are my own words!

I’ve seen a lot of college room collections over the years, and OCM’s stood out to me because of how complete the set really felt (I know it’s in the name but you’ll understand what I mean in a sec!) and for the variety of color schemes. Let me break it down.

This set comes with 24 items, including your typical bedding and towels along with some surprising additions like a mattress pad and underbed storage. If I’m buying a collection like this, I don’t want to have to make a trip to the store to fill in things it missed, and that’s definitely not the case with this set! I compared it to what I bought when I moved into my first dorm and I can’t think of anything they missed. Here’s a full list of what the collection comes with:

  • 2 extra-long flat sheets
  • 2 extra-long fitted sheets
  • 2 standard pillowcases
  • 2 extra-fluffy machine washable pillows
  • 1 extra-long reversible comforter
  • 1 extra-long quilted mattress pad
  • 1 extra-long egg crate pad
  • 1 extra-long microplush blanket
  • 2 all-cotton bath towels
  • 2 matching cotton hand towels
  • 2 matching cotton wash cloths
  • 2 oversized bath sheets
  • 1 laundry bag
  • 2 underbed storage solutions
  • 1 bedside storage caddy

I’m really picky about colors in my room, and what I liked about OCM’s color selection was that there are a ton of neutral sets that still feel energetic and fun. I could pick almost any color and it would be easy to decorate a room around the set instead of being confined to a particular color scheme. For a collection that’s Guaranteed ’til Graduation, it’s important that I can transition my room’s theme and not worry about trying to match my bedding!

I went with the Gray Chambray/Xavier Gray Complete Campus Standard, which came with a reversible comforter that had gray and white stripes on one side and a darker gray on the other. Everything else in the set followed the gray color scheme, including the two sets of sheets it came with: one matched the dark gray and the other was in a cute gray and white pattern. Two sets of sheets means less laundry to do!

Overall, if you’re looking for a quick way to get all the bed and bath essentials for your college dorm or apartment, I would definitely recommend checking out OCM’s Complete Campus Pak!
